Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

You will be greeted upon your
arrival at Mohammad V airport in Casablanca and will be escorted to your hotel.
Our tour guide will deliver your vouchers and will
provide brief review of your tour. Overnight:

Day 2: Casablanca-Meknes-
Fez
(B D)
After breakfast, we will have a
half-day sightseeing tour of Casablanca, the economic
capital of Morocco. We will visit Hassan II Mosque
(outside) - the largest mosque outside Mecca. Depart to Meknes, which was the capital city under the
reign of Moulay Ismail. This city is famous for its 40
km long city walls that preserve the most beautiful gate
of Morocco, Bab Al Mansour. We will
also visit the Royal Stables which housed up to 12,000
horses of Sultan Moulay Ismail. Later we will continue
to Fes via the holy city of Moulay
Idriss where the founder of the Islam in Morocco is buried; this town is
famous for its green rooftops and offers one of the most
picturesque views of Moroccan town life. On our way to
Fez, we will also visit the roman city of
Volubilis. Volubilis features the
best preserved excavations in this part of northern
Africa dating from the Roman Empire.
In 1997 the site was listed on the UNESCO World Heritage
list. Later we will arrive to Fez and check-in to our
Riad. Overnight: Fez
Day 3: Fez (B, D)
After breakfast, we will begin our
full day sightseeing tour of Fez, the most ancient city
of the Imperials, founded by Idris I (789) and his son
Moulay Idris II (810). We will visit the medieval
Medina
with its Medersas (religious Islamic universities)
Attarine and Bou Anania, the Nejjarine fountain, the
Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine Mosque. After
our (optional) local lunch we will continue to Fez Jdid
(new Fez), and return to our
Riad. Overnight:

Day 4:
Fez -Rabat

After breakfast depart to the
imperial city of
Rabat; the administrative capital
city of the Kingdom. We will see Mechouar (ramparts and
walls surrounding the Royal
Palace), the fortified Oudaya Kasbah, the marvelous
Mohamed V mausoleum and
Hassan
Tower. We will check-in to our
hotel in
Rabat
for overnight. Overnight: Rabat
Day 5: Rabat - Marrakech (B, D)
After breakfast, we will depart to
Marrakech.
Marrakech was once the capital of
an empire that stretched from Toledo, Spain, to Senegal.
Also known as the ―Red City‖ or ―Pink City‖ due to the
distinctive hue of the local earth used in the
construction of its many brick buildings, Marrakech is a
city of labyrinthine alleyways, secluded palaces,
museums, mosques and markets.

Day 6: Marrakech (B, D)
After breakfast, we will begin our
full day sightseeing tour of Marrakech, the second
largest city in
Morocco
also known as the pearl of south. Today we will visit
the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the
Bahia
Palace and Koutoubia Minaret.
Afternoon we will visit the Djemaa El Fna square, which
by day is a market place but at night is a place of
non-stop entertainment; this area is great for bargain
hunt in the souks and handicraft shops of Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakech (B, D)
Continue
exploring Marrakech, starting by visiting the beautiful
gardens dotting the city. One of the most lovely are the
Menara Gardens, which date to the twelfth century and
are set among extensive orchards and olive groves. At
their center is a rectangular pool with a fabulous view
of the Atlas Mountains. From here, continue to Majorelle
Garden, originally designed in 1924 by French artist
Jacques Majorelle and now owned by famous couture
designer Yves Saint Laurent. Marvel at the garden‘s
exotic plants, such as bamboo, cacti, bougainvillea and
palms, and take in the tranquil streams and fish-filled
pools peppered throughout. The rest of your day is at
leisure, perhaps for last-minute shopping or sightseeing
at your own pace

Day 8: Departure to Marrakech
airport (B) or optional transfer to Casablanca airport
Transfer to Marrakech airport for flight back home.

airport can be transferred to
